SOFTBALL DEVELOPMENT. MINDSET. LEADERSHIP

CLEARING FENCES

ON THE FIELD.

SHATTERING CEILINGS

IN LIFE.

The Home Run M1ndset helps softball athletes develop

their skills, strengthen their mindset, and lead with

character - on the field and in life. Built on collegiate coaching

experience and a Christian foundation, HRM offers a travel

softball organization, mental performance coaching for teams

and individual athetes, and the developing Home Run M1ndset Academy,

which integrates academics and softball development throughout the school day.

Athletes do not need to play for an HRM travel team

to participate in coaching or the HRM Academy.

What Sets Us Apart

Built Different on Purpose.

Collegiate coaching experience shapes how we develop each athlete.

We use individual assessment, technology, development plans, and

ongoingfeedback to understand what she needs, build an

intentional plan, and track her progress.

Alongside softball skills, we develop how she thinks, prepares, responds to

adversity, and leads others. Built on a Christian foundation, our approach

helps her grow as a player and a person - with purpose beyond the game.

Collegiate Experience. Innovative Development. Individual Attention.

HRM is led by Jennifer Patrick-Swift, former Division I softball coach with more than 20 years of collegiate coaching, recruiting, and player development experience. Jennifer served as head coach at NC State and Saint Francis University.

Jennifer designed and implemented one of the first Director of Player Personnel positions in NCAA Division I softball, integrating technology, movement assessments, and performance data into athlete development and recruiting. This transformed how her program evaluated prospective players—using hitting, pitching, and movement metrics to identify potential beyond traditional statistics and project how recruits could develop throughout their collegiate careers under individualized development plans. For current athletes, ongoing assessment helped coaches track progress, identify where improvement stalled, and adjust training to meet each player’s needs.

That same intentional approach shapes HRM today. Each athlete’s development begins with understanding where she is, identifying what she needs, and building a clear plan for continued growth. HRM combines collegiate coaching experience, objective assessment, and ongoing feedback to help each athlete develop with purpose through a plan that evolves as she progresses.
